September 2008
This is the season we’ve been waiting for! It’s finally here and there are still a few opportunities for you to enjoy it with us. And an exciting new project has started….
As far as organized riding, there are 2 more tours, a Ladies Day Ride and 2 workshops yet this season.
Our Beaver Valley/Bruce weekend is completely booked, however if you’re still interested, please let us know – we will do what we can.
Sept 26-28 is a beautiful Fall Ride staying in beautiful accommodations and encompassing an amazing scenic route. This is the last weekend getaway of 2008 and a perfect end of season ride.
We are busy planning our tours for 2009 and another exciting season is shaping up. Watch the website for updates in the next month or so.
Women, Motorcycling and Personal Power
I’m excited to have started working on a new project to be published on the subject of women, motorcycling and personal power and would appreciate your input.
I regularly receive emails and hear stories about how motorcycling has profoundly influenced someone’s life – whether it’s a new rider or a seasoned traveler. These stories describe experiences where motorcycling has played a role in teaching you to look within and discover your own personal power and are consistently inspirational.
A number of significant experiences this summer have demonstrated the weight and importance that our words and actions carry in influencing ourselves and others – even when we’re not aware of it. Motorcycles have figured prominently in these experiences, but it’s not solely about the motorcycle.
You too have stories that will surely influence others in ways that you can never imagine. Here is your opportunity to tell them.
If you are a woman interested in sharing your experience of how motorcycling has helped in overcoming life’s challenges or otherwise played a significant role, I’d love to hear them. Send them to liz@trilliumtours.com.
Many thanks.
Fall Ride-in Clinics – Date Changes
Knowledge is power! With shop hours ranging from $80 to $95 and more – if you can get in – it makes sense to know the basics to take care of your bike. It only takes 1 oil change or 1 visit to the dealer to pay for the clinic – and it’s nowhere near as much fun.
It’s not unusual at our clinics to discover unsafe conditions on at least one motorcycle that are compromising the rider’s safety – some significantly. By knowing how and what to check, you can take a few simple steps that will greatly and safely enhance your riding experience. That’s invaluable.
All makes and models of motorcycle are welcome.
Niagara Clinic – ladies only
Orangeville Clinic – men and women welcome.
